Early Life and Education
Sally Prue was adopted when she was a baby. She grew up in Hertfordshire, England. She went to Nash Mills School and Longdean School.
After finishing school, Sally Prue started working. She worked at a paper mill, just like other members of her family.
Sally's First Jobs
Her first official job was as a clerk. After that, she worked as a "time and motion" person. This job involved making work processes more efficient.
She later left her job because she was expecting her first daughter. Sally Prue has two daughters, named Elizabeth and Rosalind.
Becoming a Writer
While raising her children, Sally Prue started to get better at writing stories. She worked hard on her writing skills. Eventually, she found a literary agent named Elizabeth Roy. An agent helps writers sell their books to publishers.
