Saltoro Kangri facts for kids
Saltoro Kangri is a 7,742 metres (25,400 ft) mountain in the Karakoram range, in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region. It is also known as Saltoro Range. The name means Yellow Mountain. It is the 31st highest mountain in the world. The first people to reach the top were R.A. Bashir, A. Saito, and Y. Takamura, in 1962.
