Samuel George Claflin, born on June 27, 1986, is a talented British actor. He finished his studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009. Soon after, he started his acting journey on TV.
His first big movie role was as Philip Swift in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 2011. Sam Claflin became even more famous for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games movies (2013–2015). He also starred in popular romantic films like Love, Rosie (2014) and Me Before You (2016). Sam Claflin was born in Ipswich, England. His dad, Mark, worked in finance. His mom, Sue, was a teaching assistant. He has two older brothers. Sam grew up in Norwich, which is also in England.
