Samaira's Journey to Coding

Samaira Mehta grew up in Santa Clara, California. Her father is an engineer, and he taught her about coding when she was only 6 years old. She quickly became interested in how computers work and how to give them instructions.

Samaira wanted to share her love for coding with other children. With help from her little brother, she spent a year creating a special board game. This game, called CoderBunnyz, was designed to make learning to code fun and easy for kids.

Samaira's hard work and creativity have earned her several awards. In 2016, she won second place at Think Tank Learning's Pitchfest, receiving a $2,500 prize. She also received a special letter from former First Lady Michelle Obama, recognizing her achievements.
