Samanta Karavella (born on July 9, 1990) is a popular singer and songwriter from Albania. She is known for her energetic music and powerful voice.

Early Life and Starting Out (1990–2012)

Samanta Karavella was born in Tirana, Albania, on July 9, 1990. She loved music from a very young age. When she was just 13, Samanta started her music career. She tried out for an Albanian TV talent show called Ethet e së premtes mbrëma.

At 16, she even had a small part in a movie called Gjoleka. Samanta kept working on her music. She entered many music events, like Festivali i Këngës and Kënga Magjike.

In 2011, Samanta wanted to sing for Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. She competed in the 50th Festivali i Këngës with her song "Zgjomë një tjetër ëndërr". She finished in fourth place, which was a great achievement!

Growing Success and Her Album Mama (2013–Present)

In 2013, Samanta won the 10th Top Fest music competition. Her winning song was called "Loti i fundit". This was a big moment for her career.

In July 2014, she released a song called "Ti s'e din se". This song was even nominated for an award at the 2015 Netët e Klipit Shqiptar event.

Samanta returned to Kënga Magjike in December 2017. She sang her song "Humbur" and finished in fourth place again. She also won the "Best Ballad Award" at the contest.

In January 2019, Samanta released "Vonë" with Elinel, another musician. This song mixed R&B and hip hop music styles. In 2020, her songs "Pse" and "NKN" (with Skerdi) became popular in Albania. They reached numbers 19 and 34 on the music charts.

Her song "Emnin tem", released in May 2021, reached number seven in Albania. Later that year, her song "Mala" was released. A special remix of "Mala" was played on the radio in many countries. It was even approved by Warner Music in Russia.

Samanta is currently working on her first album, which is called Mama. The song "Mama" was the first song released from the album. It reached number 19 on the Albanian music charts in November 2021. The second song from the album, "Jeta ime", came out a month later.

In 2023, Samanta was chosen to compete in Festivali i Këngës 62 with her song "N'Majë". However, she later decided not to compete in the show.
