San Antonio is a small town in Honduras. It is a municipality located in the Intibucá area of the country.
Who Lives in San Antonio?
In 2013, about 5,492 people lived in the municipality of San Antonio. Most of these people, about 73%, were Mestizo. This means they have a mix of European and Indigenous backgrounds.
About 18% of the people were Indigenous. Most of these Indigenous people belonged to the Lenca group. There were also smaller groups of White people (about 5%) and Afro-Hondurans (about 3%). The remaining people belonged to other groups.
