Sandra Kim facts for kids
Sandra Kim, whose real name is Sandra Caldarone, was born on October 15, 1972. She is a famous singer from Belgium with Italian family roots. She became very well-known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1986.
When Sandra Kim won Eurovision, she was only 13 years old. This made her the youngest person ever to win the contest! Her song was called "J'aime la vie", which means "I love life". After her big win, Sandra Kim also represented Belgium at the Yamaha Music Festival in Tokyo in 1986. She also sang the main song for a French cartoon series called Il était une fois... la vie. In 2011, she released a pop rock album named Make Up. Famous Belgian artists helped write songs for this album. More recently, in 2023, Sandra Kim was a special guest judge on a Belgian TV show called Drag Race Belgique. She also won the first season of the Belgian version of The Masked Singer, where she was disguised as "Queen".
