Alexander Stewart Fitzpatrick, often called Alex, was born on December 22, 1944. He is a former professional ice hockey player. Alex was born in Paisley, Scotland, but grew up in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. He played as a centre and shot with his left hand.
Alex Fitzpatrick played a few games in the top league, the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the New York Rangers and the Minnesota North Stars. Most of his hockey career, from 1965 to 1972, was spent playing in smaller leagues.

Starting in Junior Hockey
Alex Fitzpatrick began his hockey career playing in junior leagues. He played for the Guelph Royals in the OHA. Later, he joined the Kitchener Rangers.
