Santa Clara is a town in El Salvador. It is a municipality found in the San Vicente Department. Santa Clara is about 50 kilometers (31 miles) east of San Salvador. It is also about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from San Vicente. Around 9,750 people live in this municipality.
The town is famous for its fun parties and old traditions. These events happen all year long. They start in August with the Fiestas Patronales. In July, they celebrate their patron saint, San Jose. In December, there is a big annual Christmas carnival.
