Sara José López Bueno (born April 24, 1995) is an amazing athlete from Colombia. She is famous for competing in archery, especially with a compound bow. People sometimes call her the "Compound Archery Queen" because she is so good!

Sara first joined the Colombian national team in 2011. She has won many medals at big events like the World Games. Besides being a top archer, Sara is also a medical student, which is super impressive!

Archery Achievements

Sara López has achieved a lot in her archery career. In 2013, she made it to the finals of the Archery World Cup. That same year, she reached her highest world ranking, becoming number 3 in the world! One of her biggest wins was at the 2014 Archery World Cup.

World Records

Sara López holds many world records in archery. She is the current world record holder for a 15-arrow round. She has set 10 other world records too! She was the first woman ever to shoot a perfect score of 150 points in a World Cup event in Medellín in 2013.

Recent Wins and Awards

In 2020, Sara won the first-ever Lockdown Knockout tournament. This was a special online competition organized by World Archery. She beat Anders Faugstad from Norway in the final match.

In 2021, Sara was named the "Athlete of the Year" by World Archery Americas for her amazing skills in compound women's archery.

At the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, USA, Sara won a silver medal in the individual women's compound event. She also teamed up with Daniel Muñoz to win a gold medal in the mixed team compound event.
