Sara José López Bueno (born on April 24, 1995) is a famous athlete from Colombia. She is known for her amazing skills in archery, especially with a compound bow. She first joined the Colombian national team in 2011. This was for a special event before the Olympics in Medellín, Colombia.

Early Success and World Records

Sara López started making a name for herself very quickly. In 2013, she competed in the Archery World Cup. She did so well that she made it to the final competition. That same year, her world ranking went up to number 3, which is a huge achievement!

One of her biggest wins was at the 2014 Archery World Cup. She also holds several world records in archery. She was the first woman ever to shoot a perfect score of 150 in a 15-arrow round. This happened at a World Cup event in Medellín in 2013.

Recent Achievements

In 2020, Sara won a special online tournament called the Lockdown Knockout. World Archery organized this event. She beat Anders Faugstad from Norway in the final match.

In 2021, Sara was honored as the Athlete of the Year by World Archery Americas. This award was for her excellent performance in the compound women's category.

She continued her success at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States. There, she won a silver medal in the individual women's compound event. Sara also teamed up with Daniel Muñoz to win a gold medal in the mixed team compound event.
