Her Life Story
Sara de Ibáñez was born in a place called Chamberlain in Uruguay. She wrote poems that felt very strong and emotional. Her poems often talked about big ideas that everyone can understand. These ideas included things like war, the end of the world, dying, nature, and love.
She used old ways of writing poems, like the sonnet, which has a special rhyme and rhythm. But she also tried new, freer styles of poetry. Sara passed away in Montevideo in 1971.

- Canto póstumo (Posthumous songs). This book was put together and published after she died in 1973 by Roberto Ibáñez.
