Sascha Gerstner (born April 2, 1977) is a talented musician from Germany. He plays guitar and sings backing vocals for the power metal band Helloween. He joined Helloween in 2002 and has been with them ever since. Sascha is one of the longest-serving guitarists in Helloween's history. Before Helloween, he was also a member of the band Freedom Call.

Sascha Gerstner's Musical Journey
Early Musical Steps
Sascha Gerstner started playing music at a very young age. When he was just 6 years old, he began learning to play the keyboard. He enjoyed the popular music styles of the 1980s, like new wave and pop.
Switching to Guitar
At 13, Sascha decided to try a new instrument: the guitar. He was inspired by famous guitarists like those from the Michael Schenker Group and Steve Lukather. This change helped him find his true passion in music.
Joining Freedom Call
In 1998, Sascha became a member of the metal band Freedom Call. He helped create their first two albums. He also traveled a lot with the band, performing many concerts.
Becoming a Helloween Guitarist
In 2002, Sascha met Michael Weikath, a member of the band Helloween. Soon after, Sascha joined Helloween as a guitarist and songwriter. He has helped the band record seven studio albums. These albums have been very successful and popular. His guitar playing is well-known in the power metal music world.
Other Projects and Interests
Besides his work with Helloween, Sascha Gerstner has other creative projects. In 2015, he started his own electronic rock project called PALAST. He also has interests in fashion and photography in Berlin. Sascha uses his artistic vision to make his mark in these different areas.
