Who Won the Superstar Contest?
In 1986, the winners were a group called Claire and Friends. They even had a song that became a top hit! The song was called "It's 'Orrible Being in Love (When You're 8½)." The next year, in 1987, a group named Juvenile Jazz won. One of their members, Nigel Ipinson, later became a keyboard player for famous bands like OMD and sometimes Stone Roses.
