Saycon Sengbloh (born October 23, 1977) is an American actress and singer. She is known for her powerful performances on both stage and screen. Saycon has been recognized with several awards for her acting, including a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play and an Obie Award. She was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

About Saycon Sengbloh
Saycon Sengbloh was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She started acting at a special school for visual and performing arts. Later, she studied music and Spanish in college before deciding to focus on her acting and music career.
On Stage: Broadway Star
Saycon has been a part of many famous Broadway musicals. These include Aida, Wicked, and The Color Purple. She even played the role of Elphaba in Wicked sometimes!
Her big moment came in 2015 with the play Eclipsed. This play tells the story of five women surviving near the end of a war in Liberia. It was special because it was the first play on Broadway with an all-black and female creative team. Saycon's acting in Eclipsed was highly praised. She won a Drama Desk Award for her amazing performance and was nominated for a Tony Award.
On Screen: TV and Movies
Saycon Sengbloh has also appeared in many TV shows and movies. She first acted in a TV movie called The Ditchdigger's Daughters in 1997. She later appeared in films like Across the Universe and American Gangster. You might have also seen her in TV shows such as Law & Order and The Good Wife.
