Scholastic Asian Book Award facts for kids
The Scholastic Asian Book Award (SABA) is a special prize for children's authors. It was created by Scholastic Asia and the Singapore Book Council (SBC) working together. This award celebrates writers from Asia who share stories about life, feelings, and ideas from different parts of Asia with the whole world. It also helps people understand Asian experiences better through new and creative books. The winners are announced at the Asian Festival of Children's Content in Singapore.

The Scholastic Asian Book Award has a few important goals:
- To find and celebrate the best fiction books for kids written by Asian authors.
- To show off the many different talented writers from all over Asia.
- To encourage and inspire more amazing books and stories that share Asian experiences.
