In the first challenge, chefs had four and a half hours to make chocolate look like other things, using special molds. If they didn't do well, they got extra help from Chef Guichon instead of doing the next challenge. For the second challenge, the chefs worked in two teams. The winners from the first challenge, Daniel Joseph Corpuz and Juan Gutierrez, picked their teams. Tyricia Clark and Amanda Miller got one-on-one help. Teams had 14 hours to bend chocolate into cool buildings and shapes. Juan was named the best chef for this episode!

|
The first challenge was to make a chocolate food item look super real, using natural colors. Again, the two chefs who didn't meet Chef Guichon's standards got special help. This time, Daniel Joseph Corpuz and Cedrick Simpson had the one-on-one session. For the second challenge, chefs worked in two teams again to make a chocolate structure inspired by nature. Amanda Miller and Stephanie Norcio were the team leaders. The episode ended with a big surprise: Team Stephanie's chocolate sculpture fell apart!

| 3 | 3 | "Make It Ooze" | 26 November 2021 | |
|
Episode three started with Chef Guichon telling the teams how they did. Team Amanda won the second challenge! Chef Guichon couldn't decide who was best between Daniel Joseph Corpuz and Melissa Root. So, he let the contestants vote, and Melissa Root was chosen as best in class. The first challenge of episode three needed something that "oozed" out. Contestants had four and a half hours to make a dessert that told a story and had an oozing part. Tyricia Clark and Juan Gutierrez were team leaders. Melissa Root and Thiago Silva were the ones who got extra help in episode four.

This week's pastry challenge was split. Half the chefs had to make flower petals from chocolate. The other half had to make a chocolate hinge that could move. The petal team had four and a half hours to make a cake with chocolate flowers. The hinge team had the same time to make an interactive dessert with a working hinge. Cedrick Simpson won the flower challenge, and Melissa Root won the hinge challenge. The winners got to choose who would sit out the next big showpiece challenge. Juan Gutierrez and Stephanie Norcio were chosen to sit out.

| 7 | 7 | "Give Me Some Sugar" | 26 November 2021 | |

For the pastry challenge, chefs had four and a half hours to create anything they wanted, as long as it included a "blown sugar" element. This is a special technique where sugar is heated and shaped like glass. This week, Thiago and Juan were named best in class. Chef Guichon then announced the two top chefs in the 'class': Juan Gutierrez and Melissa Root. He said the next chocolate challenge would decide the winner between them. They would each lead a team of four to create a final chocolate showpiece.

| 8 | 8 | "The Best in Class Is..." | 26 November 2021 | |
|
The final chocolate showpiece challenge had a prehistoric theme. Juan chose Daniel, Tyricia, and Cedrick for his team. Melissa chose Thiago, Amanda, and Stephanie for her team. Both teams had 16 hours to make a four-foot-tall chocolate sculpture made entirely of chocolate. The winner received an invitation to Chef Amaury Guichon's pastry academy in Las Vegas to teach a masterclass. They also won $50,000, an invitation to the Charleston Wine and Food Festival, and a special session with chefs from Cacao Barry. All the prizes were worth $100,000!
