Sean Bergin (born 29 June 1948 – died 1 September 2012) was an amazing jazz musician from South Africa. He played the saxophone and flute. His music was a special kind of jazz called avant-garde jazz, which means it was very creative and often explored new sounds.

Sean Bergin's Early Life and Music
Sean Bergin was born in Durban, South Africa, on 29 June 1948. From a young age, he loved music. He was especially inspired by the lively jazz music of South Africa. He became a talented saxophonist and flautist.
Music During Apartheid
During a time called apartheid in South Africa, there were unfair laws that separated people based on their race. Sean Bergin believed in equality.
