Seiichi Makita (巻田 清一, Makita Seiichi, born July 11, 1968) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender and midfielder during his career.
Seiichi Makita's Football Journey
Seiichi Makita was born in Tokyo, Japan, on July 11, 1968. He grew up loving football. After finishing university at Tokai University, he started his professional football journey with NTT Kanto in 1991. He quickly became a key player for the team.
Playing for Different Teams
In 1993, Seiichi Makita moved to Urawa Reds, a bigger team. However, he didn't get to play much in matches there.
The next year, in 1994, he joined Fujitsu, which was part of the Japan Football League. He played as a regular starter for Fujitsu for three seasons.
In 1997, he moved to another team in the Japan Football League, Mito HollyHock. He continued to be a regular player for two seasons there. Seiichi Makita decided to retire from playing professional football at the end of the 1998 season.
