What is Seremban 2?
Seremban 2 is a newer, planned township located about 4 kilometres southeast of the older Seremban town centre. It was built on land that used to be an oil palm estate. The idea behind Seremban 2 was to create a more organized area for government offices and businesses, moving them away from the busy old town.
This large township, covering about 2,000 acres (around 8 square kilometers), is home to important buildings like:
- The main Seremban District administrative offices
- The Seremban Court Complex
- The District Police headquarters
- The State Fire Brigade headquarters
Seremban 2 also has many housing areas for people to live in, such as Green Street Homes, Sri Carcosa, Central Park, and S2 Heights. Residents here enjoy modern facilities like the ÆON Seremban 2 Shopping Centre, City Park, and Seremban 2's own Lake Gardens. Plus, it often has less traffic than the older town centre!
