Sergey Vitalyevich Bezrukov (born October 18, 1973) is a famous Russian actor. He has acted in many films and plays. He is also a singer. Sergey Bezrukov has received important awards, like the People's Artist of Russia. He works at the Tabakov Studio theater.

About Sergey Bezrukov
Early Life and School
Sergey Bezrukov was born in Moscow, Russia. His father, Vitali Bezrukov, was also an actor and director. His mother, Natalia Bezrukova, worked as a shop manager. Sergey was named after a famous poet, Sergei Yesenin.
After finishing high school in 1990, he went to the Moscow Art Theater School. He studied acting there and graduated in 1994. Right after school, he joined the Moscow Theater Studio. This theater was led by Oleg Tabakov, who was also his teacher.
Acting Career Highlights
From 1995 to 2000, Sergey worked on a TV show called Puppets. This show used puppets to represent famous people, especially politicians. He voiced twelve different characters on the show. This helped him become more well-known as an actor.
In 2002, Sergey got a very important role. He played Sasha Belov, a gang leader, in the popular TV show Brigada. This show made him a household name in Russia. He also voiced the main character in the animated film Prince Vladimir.
Sergey is also known for his theater work. He played Chichikov in a play called Dead Souls. In 2006, he played the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin in the film Pushkin: The Last Duel. In 2005, a survey showed he was Russia's favorite actor.
In 2014, he signed a letter supporting the Russian President's actions in Ukraine. In 2020, he supported changes to the Russian Constitution. These changes defined marriage as between a man and a woman. He stated his belief in traditional family values.
International Recognition
In July 2022, the European Union placed sanctions on Sergey Bezrukov. This was because of his public support for certain actions related to Ukraine. Sanctions are official actions taken by one country or group against another.
Personal Life
Sergey Bezrukov was married to actress Irina Bezrukova from 2000 to 2015. They separated in 2015.
On March 11, 2016, Sergey married director and screenwriter Anna Matison. They had a daughter named Maria on July 4, 2016. Sergey also has a daughter named Alexandra and a son named Ivan from a previous relationship.
