Discovering the Monsters' Story
This book tells the tale of seven giant monsters. Each monster is named after a number, from One to Seven. The story begins with all seven monsters standing together in a line. But it doesn't take long for them to start causing all sorts of mischief!
Meet the Mischievous Monsters
Each monster has its own unique way of creating chaos:
- One decides to fly high in the sky.
- Two uses his very long nose to dig a huge hole.
- Three enjoys scaring an entire town.
- Four has a strange appetite for tulip trees.
- Five is incredibly thirsty and drinks up the seas.
- Six finds houses to be the perfect place for a nap.
- Seven does something very unusual: he unscrews his own head!
The Townspeople's Clever Plan
After all their wild actions, the story ends with a surprising twist. The monsters, despite being giant, are captured. They are held and controlled by the much smaller townspeople. It shows that even small people can be very clever and brave!
From Book to TV Show
The adventures of the Seven Little Monsters were so popular that they were turned into a TV series. The show, also called Seven Little Monsters, was a Canadian-Chinese-Filipino co-production. It aired on PBS Kids from 2000 to 2004. The TV series expanded on the monsters' personalities and their funny escapades.
