Shai Linne (born August 21, 1974) is an American Christian rapper, writer, and church leader. He is known for his thoughtful lyrics that often explore deep ideas about faith. Shai Linne has been making music and working with other Christian artists since 2002. His albums are released through Lamp Mode Records.

Shai Linne's Early Life
Shai Linne grew up not believing in God. He became a Christian in 1999. His faith is based on a specific Christian teaching called Calvinism. In his 2008 album, The Atonement, he included a song called "Mission Accomplished." This song shared his beliefs about how God saves people.
Shai Linne's Music Career
Shai Linne has worked with many other Christian rappers. Some of these artists include Lecrae, Trip Lee, Timothy Brindle, and Flame. He also appeared on the 116 Clique album 13 Letters. In 2011, he was featured on a song called "The Lord is a Warrior." This song was on Matt Papa's album This Changes Everything.
In 2013, Shai Linne released a song called "Fal$e Teacher$." In this song, he spoke out against certain teachings he believed were not true to his faith. He is known for using complex and clever rhymes in his rapping. One study looked at the lyrics of 94 artists. It found that Shai Linne was fourth in how many rhymes he used. This shows how skilled he is with words.
Shai Linne's Ministry Work
In 2016, Shai Linne helped start a church in Philadelphia. It is called Risen Christ Fellowship. He has also served as a leader and assistant pastor at other churches. These include Del Ray Baptist Church in Virginia. He was also a member of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
After working at Del Ray Baptist Church for two years, Shai Linne stopped touring full-time. In May 2024, he started a podcast with Lamp Mode. He hosts it with The Ambassador and Ben Otero. The podcast is called The Halftime Podcast. Later in 2024, he also spoke at different conferences.
