Early Days and Pretty Boy Killers (2014–2017)

Shane Taylor first appeared in Ring of Honor (ROH) in November 2014. He lost his first match. He came back to ROH in April 2015 for another match.

In May 2015, Taylor started teaming up with another wrestler named Keith Lee. By September 2015, they called their team the "Pretty Boy Killers". They wrestled against many other teams.

In August 2016, at an event called Field of Honor, the Pretty Boy Killers tried to become the top challengers for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. They did not win. The next month, they tried again at All Star Extravaganza VIII but also lost.

In November 2016, the Pretty Boy Killers wrestled the Briscoe Brothers and War Machine. They lost that match. The next night, they beat War Machine. In January 2017, Taylor signed his first contract with ROH. The Pretty Boy Killers team broke up when Keith Lee left ROH.

The Rebellion and Title Challenges (2017–2019)

In spring 2017, Taylor joined a wrestling group called The Rebellion. This group included Rhett Titus, Kenny King, and Caprice Coleman. The Rebellion group ended in June 2017. They lost a special match where the losing team had to break up.

In October 2017, Taylor won a match against Josh Woods. Later that month, he won another match to become the number one challenger for the ROH World Television Championship. In November 2017, Taylor took part in a tournament but did not win. In December 2017, he wrestled for the ROH World Television Championship but lost.

In 2018, Taylor continued to challenge for titles and team with other wrestlers. He signed an exclusive contract with ROH at the end of 2018.
