Shanola Hampton (born May 27, 1977) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Veronica Fisher in the TV show Shameless and Gabi Mosely in the drama series Found. Gamers might also recognize her, as she was the face model for the character Rochelle in the video game Left 4 Dead 2.

Life and Education

Shanola Hampton was born on Long Island, New York. When she was four, her family moved to Summerville, South Carolina, where she grew up.

After high school, she went to Winthrop University and earned a degree in theater. Later, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. There, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting. This is a special degree for people who want to become experts in their artistic field.

Hampton has been married to Daren Dukes since 2000. They have two children, a daughter named Cai and a son named Daren.

Acting Career

Hampton began her acting career in 2000. She started by performing in a musical in Hollywood. Soon after, she began appearing in many popular TV shows. Some of these include Reba, Scrubs, and Criminal Minds.

In 2010, her career took a big step forward. She was cast as Veronica Fisher in the popular TV show Shameless. The show is a dramedy, which means it's a mix of drama and comedy. She was a main character on the show for all 11 seasons, from 2011 to 2021. Her performance was praised by critics.
