Shareefa Faradah Cooper (born March 12, 1984), known by her stage name Shareefa, is an American R&B singer. R&B stands for Rhythm and Blues, a popular style of music. Shareefa grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In 2005, she signed with a music company called Disturbing tha Peace/Def Jam Recordings. Her first song, "Need a Boss", featured the famous rapper Ludacris. This song was a big hit, reaching number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Music charts show how popular songs and albums are each week.
