Sharon is a small, unincorporated community located in Saline County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. This means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's managed by the county.

The Story of Sharon

Sharon has a short but interesting history. A post office was opened in Sharon in 1888. This post office helped people send and receive mail for about 15 years. It closed down in 1903. The community also had a schoolhouse, known as the Sharon schoolhouse. This school is no longer in use today.
