Starting Professional Play

In 1993, Shingi Ono officially joined the professional team, Verdy Kawasaki. Even though he was part of the team, he didn't get to play in any matches at first. This can be tough for a new player.

Moving to New Teams

After his loan ended, he returned to Verdy Kawasaki in 1997. Then, in 1998, he moved to Gamba Osaka. He made his debut in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. However, he still didn't get much playing time.

Success with Yokohama FC

In 1999, Shingi Ono found a new home at Yokohama FC. This was a new club in the Japan Football League (JFL). Here, he became a very important player.

  • Shingi Ono became a regular player for Yokohama FC in the J2 League. He played for the club until the end of the 2005 season.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2006, Shingi Ono moved to New Wave Kitakyushu. This club was in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He continued to be a regular player there.

  • His team, New Wave Kitakyushu, was promoted to the JFL in 2008.

  • He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2009 season.
