What is Ship to Shore About?
The series is all about a group of kids living on a special place called Circe Island. This is a made-up island located near Perth, in Western Australia. Each episode was about 24 minutes long.
Adventures on Circe Island
The first series of Ship to Shore was full of comedy. The kids often found clever ways to outsmart the adults. A main adult character they often tricked was Hermes Endakis, played by Greg Carroll. The main child actors in this series included Clinton Voss, Jodi Herbert, Cleonie Morgon-Wootton, and Heath Miller.
Later series kept the funny stories going. But they also started to include more serious topics. These included social issues and environmental problems. For example, in the second series, the children worked together to stop a big company. This company wanted to damage their island.
