Short Stack is a cool Australian punk rock band. The band has three main members. They are Shaun Diviney, who sings and plays guitar. Andy Clemmensen plays bass and sings backup. Bradie Webb is the drummer. Another person, Shannon Hotchkins, was also part of the band early on.
Short Stack became very popular. They won the Channel V Oz Artist of the Year award twice. Their albums sold so well that two of them went "gold". This means they sold a lot of copies! They also had three songs that made it into the top ten charts. One of their songs even reached number one on the ARIA Charts, which is a big deal in Australia. Another song sold so many copies it went "platinum".
The band took a break in 2012. They released their third album the next year. In 2014, they announced they were getting back together. They released a new song called "Television". Their song "Amy" was the first song from their fourth album, Homecoming. But they split up again in 2015.
Good news for fans! Short Stack announced they would return in 2020. They planned a tour to celebrate. In March 2021, they released their first new song in six years. It was called "Burn You Down".
