Shuichi Mase (間瀬 秀一, Mase Shūichi, born October 22, 1973) is a Japanese football manager and former player. He was born in Mie Prefecture and is known for his work in football. He currently manages the Veertien Mie club.

Shuichi Mase's Football Journey
Playing as a Forward
Shuichi Mase was born on October 22, 1973. After finishing his studies at Nippon Sport Science University, he played football for a short time. From 1997 to 2000, he played as a forward. He played for teams in North and Central America. He also spent some time playing in Croatia.
Becoming a Football Coach
After his playing career, Shuichi Mase started working as a coach. He first worked as a translator for famous football coaches, Ivica Osim and his son Amar Osim. This was when they were coaching JEF United Chiba until 2007. After that, Mase became a coach at the same club.
From 2010 to 2012, he coached at Fagiano Okayama. In 2013, he moved to Tokyo Verdy as a coach.
Managing Different Teams
In January 2015, Shuichi Mase became the manager of Blaublitz Akita. His mother is from Oga, Akita, which made this team special to him. In 2017, he moved to manage Ehime FC. His time there ended in May 2018.
Later in July 2018, he returned to Blaublitz Akita as their manager. This was his second time leading the team. In 2022, Mase was appointed manager of Wyvern FC. Most recently, in 2024, he became the manager of the JFL club, Veertien Mie.
