Lashunda Nicole Flowers, known as Shunda K, is an American rapper. She is famous for her solo music and for being part of the group Yo Majesty. Shunda K has worked with many other artists and released several albums and songs.

Shunda K's Music Journey
Shunda K is always creating new music. In 2019, she released an EP called "The Return of Shunda K." An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs.
New Music and Albums
Shunda K plans to release a new double album on June 6, 2022. It is called "Return of The Dragon / Rise of The Divine Feminine." This album will have 26 songs! Many talented producers helped her create these tracks. Some of them are Thunderbird Juiceboxx and Tori Fixx. Her new music label, GMEQCA/Matriarch Records, is doing well. They help Shunda K share her "soul stirring" songs with fans online.
Starting with Yo Majesty
Shunda K began her music career in 1998. She first formed a duo called Ya Majesty with Shon B. Around 2001, Jwl B joined them. The group then became known as Yo! Majesty.
In 2002, they started working with HardfeelingsUK. This duo from London helped Yo! Majesty create their unique electro-rap beats. Yo! Majesty became popular in underground clubs. They were known in both the US and the UK. In 2006, they released their first official music, an EP called "Yo EP."
Yo Majesty's Rise to Fame
Yo Majesty gained a lot of attention in 2007. They performed at a big music event called SXSW. That same year, they toured with famous bands like CSS and the Gossip. In 2007, they signed with Domino Records. This record label released an EP and a full album for the band in 2008. One song on the album was even produced by Basement Jaxx.
Changes in the Group
Shon B left Yo Majesty in 2008. So, Shunda K and Jwl B continued to tour as Yo Majesty. In January 2009, Shunda K had to finish the tour by herself. Jwl B had to take a break from touring for personal reasons. When Jwl B was ready to return, Shunda K decided to leave the group. She wanted to focus on her own music.
Shunda K's Solo Adventures
After leaving Yo Majesty, Shunda K started her solo career. She worked with the artist Peaches. They collaborated on a song called "Billionaire." Shunda K also appeared in the music video for this song.
Releasing New Music
Shunda K released several EPs with French producer Flore. She also worked with Damp Heat. All this time, she was also busy making her first solo album. This album was set to be released on January 11, 2011.
In 2010, Shunda K toured Australia. She performed at the Big Day Out festival. She also had her own club shows. Sometimes, she opened shows for her friend Peaches.
Popular Solo Songs
Shunda K's first song from her album "The Most Wanted" was "Here I Am To Save The World." It came out on July 27, 2010. This song was co-produced by Electrosexual and Chrissy Murderbot. It also featured many remixes by new producers.
Her second song from "The Most Wanted" was "I'm da Best." It was released on October 25, 2010. This song was special because it reunited Shunda K with Shon B. Shon B was an original member of Yo! Majesty. They were both on the original version of "Club Action." That song first made Yo! Majesty famous. "I'm da Best" also had many remixes.
Shunda K also worked with musician Snax. Their song was called "It's Time To Get Paid." The music video for "Paid" became very popular online. It quickly got hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.
