The Sierra del Ocejón, also called the Sierra del Robledal, is a beautiful mountain range located in the central part of Spain. It's a great place to explore nature and see traditional Spanish villages.

Geography of the Sierra
This mountain range is part of the larger Sistema Central mountain system. Its northern edge is the Río Sonsaz (Sonsaz River). To the south, it reaches the area around Tamajón. Looking from west to east, the Sierra del Ocejón stretches from the valley of the Arroyo de la Matilla (Matilla Creek) to the Río Sorbe (Sorbe River).
The highest point in this range is a peak called Ocejón, which stands at 2068 meters (about 6,785 feet) tall. Most people live in the southern part of the Sierra del Ocejón, as the northern areas are not very populated.

Culture and Traditions
The villages in the Sierra del Ocejón are famous for their special types of sheep breeds. People in this area have raised these sheep for a long time.
The Sierra del Ocejón is also known for its unique building style called Arquitectura negra (Black Architecture). This traditional way of building uses a lot of slate stone, which gives the houses a dark, distinct look. You can see many well-preserved examples of this architecture in the villages here.
