Silvio Fazio (born April 9, 1952 – died May 9, 2024) was an Italian writer. He was known for writing exciting novels in genres like thriller, fantasy, and mystery.

About Silvio Fazio

Silvio Fazio was born in Rome, Italy, on April 9, 1952. He studied accounting at the Sandro Botticelli Institute in Rome. In 1977, he moved from Italy to live in Nice, France.

Before leaving Italy, Silvio Fazio had a special interest in savannah animals. He even helped open the Safari Park in Rome. There, he helped care for 40 lions that lived in a large, open area.

From 2002 to 2010, Fazio worked as a representative for a workers' group called Force Ouvrière. In this role, he helped make agreements to reduce working hours for people at two hotels on the French Riviera.

Silvio Fazio preferred to stay out of the public eye. He did not like being in gossip columns or attending big book events. He felt these events were not truly about literature.

His Books

Silvio Fazio started his writing career in 2006. His first science fiction novel was called Il Segreto della grande porta. He also wrote many short stories for different collections. Sometimes, he used different names, called pseudonyms, for his short stories. He also wrote articles for an Italian online newspaper called Fronte della Comunicazione.

Silvio Fazio passed away on May 9, 2024, when he was 72 years old.
