Simon James Pryce, born on March 7, 1972, is an Australian entertainer. He is a singer and actor who performs for children. Many people know him as the Red Wiggle from the famous group The Wiggles. He has been a Wiggle since 2013. Simon also starred in the children's TV show The Kingdom of Paramithi.

Early Life and Learning
Simon grew up in a family of performers. His grandparents were opera singers, so he started performing when he was very young. He later studied drama at the University of Western Sydney.

Theatre Performances
Simon has performed in many different musicals. He played the role of Old Deuteronomy in Cats. He also appeared in shows like Masterpiece: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and South Pacific.
A big role for Simon was playing the main character in Phantom of the Opera. He performed this role over 100 times in Australia between 2007 and 2009.
TV Appearances
Simon has been in several TV shows and movies. You might have seen him in Water Rats, All Saints, or Home and Away.
In 2018, Simon appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior. He competed alongside his wife, Lauren Hannaford, who is a personal trainer. In 2020, Simon was a contestant on The Masked Singer Australia. He performed as the "Puppet" and finished in fourth place on the show's second season.
Joining The Wiggles
Simon first joined The Wiggles team in 2002. He started by providing voices for many of their music CDs. From 2009 to 2010, he went on tour with the group. During this time, he played Ringo the Ringmaster. He also filled in for founding member Murray Cook when needed. Simon also played King John in The Wiggles' TV show, The Kingdom of Paramithi.
In 2012, it was announced that Simon would become the Yellow Wiggle, replacing Greg Page. However, plans changed when Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt (the Purple Wiggle) decided to retire. Greg Page stayed with the group a little longer so they could all leave together.
Simon officially became the Red Wiggle in early 2013.
In 2016, The Wiggles released an album called The Carnival of the Animals. Simon wrote and performed the narration for this album. The music was based on a famous piece by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performed the music. This album helped introduce children to classical music and different musical instruments.
Simon's Personal Life
Simon has always been interested in fitness and staying healthy. He found that The Wiggles' busy performance schedule required him to be even more fit. He has talked about his workout routine and how the male members of The Wiggles enjoy friendly fitness competitions.
In late 2015, Simon got engaged to Lauren Hannaford. Lauren is a former gymnast and a fitness expert who created an online fitness program. They first met four years earlier while touring with The Wiggles. Simon and Lauren got married in Sydney in January 2017. They welcomed their son in January 2021.
