Simone Missick (born Simone Cook on January 19, 1982) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in TV shows. She played Detective Misty Knight in the Marvel series Luke Cage from 2016 to 2018. She also played this character in The Defenders and Iron Fist. From 2019 to 2023, she starred as Judge Lola Carmichael in the show All Rise.

Early Life and Education
Simone Missick grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She went to Renaissance High School there. After high school, she studied at Howard University. In 2003, she earned a bachelor's degree in English and theater arts. After college, Simone decided to become an actress.
Acting Career
Simone Missick took special acting classes in England. She studied at the British American Drama Academy. There, she learned from famous actors like Ben Kingsley and Alan Rickick.
In 2008, Simone had a main role in an independent movie. It was called The Road to Sundance. She played a character named Reese Knight.
She appeared in a TV movie called A Taste of Romance in 2012. In 2014, she was in an episode of the series Ray Donovan.
