Simone Missick (born Simone Cook on January 19, 1982) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Detective Misty Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows. These include Luke Cage, The Defenders, and Iron Fist. From 2019 to 2023, she also starred as Judge Lola Carmichael in the TV series All Rise.

Early Life and Education
Simone Missick grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She went to Renaissance High School there. After high school, she attended Howard University. In 2003, she earned a bachelor's degree in English and theater arts. After finishing college, Missick decided to follow her dream of becoming an actress.

Simone Missick studied acting at the British American Drama Academy in England. She learned from famous actors like Ben Kingsley and Alan Rickman.
Early Roles and Breakthrough
In 2008, Missick played a main role in the movie The Road to Sundance. She was known as Reese Knight in this film. In 2012, she appeared in the TV movie A Taste of Romance. She also had a role in the series Ray Donovan in 2014.
