Sir George Wombwell, 2nd Baronet (born March 14, 1769 – died October 28, 1846) was an English cricketer. He played cricket for fun, not as a professional player. He was also a Baronet, which is a special title passed down in a family.

George Wombwell was the son of Sir George Wombwell, 1st Baronet. When his father passed away in 1780, George became the next Baronet. This meant he inherited his father's title and responsibilities.

Sir George Wombwell played cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club, often called the MCC. This club is very famous in cricket history. He is recorded as playing in one top-level cricket match in 1792. In that game, he scored a total of 19 runs.
