In 1720, Henry took over the family Baronetcy. This happened after his older brother, John, passed away. This made Henry the 3rd Baronet in his family line.

A Career in Politics

From 1707 to 1727, Sir Henry was a Member of Parliament for Boyle. This meant the people of Boyle elected him to speak for them in the Irish House of Commons. Later, from 1727 until his death in 1740, he represented County Roscommon.

Sir Henry and Isabella had seven children together. Many of their children also became important figures. Their oldest son, Robert King, was given the title of Baron Kingsborough in 1748. Their second son, Edward King, became the Earl of Kingston in 1768. These were high noble titles. Their daughter, Isabella, married Thomas St Lawrence, 1st Earl of Howth, who was also an Earl.
