Sir John Henry Fludyer, 4th Baronet facts for kids
John Henry Fludyer (1803–1896) was a special person who was both a Baronet and a clergyman. A Baronet is like a knight, but the title can be passed down in the family. He is best known for helping to restore a church in Thistleton, Rutland. He did this to remember his three oldest children.
John Henry Fludyer became a Baronet later in his life. This happened after his cousin and two older brothers passed away without having children of their own. He also took over the family home in Ayston. This was a village where he was already a Rector, which is a type of church leader. He lived most of his life near Ayston. He passed away when he was 92 years old. He had been connected to the Ayston church for almost 70 years.
