Sir John Wittewronge, 3rd Baronet (1673 – 1722) was an officer in the British Army and a politician. He represented areas in England as a Member of Parliament (MP) between 1705 and 1722. His family home was Stantonbury in Buckinghamshire.

Early Life and Family

John Wittewronge was born in 1673. He was the eldest surviving son of Sir John Wittewronge, 2nd Baronet. His mother was Martha Seabrook. John Wittewronge married Mary White.

Political and Military Career

In 1709, Sir John Wittewronge became the leader (colonel) of a new army group that was formed in Ireland. This group was later disbanded in 1712.

Sir John was first elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Aylesbury in 1705. He was re-elected for Aylesbury in 1708. Later, in 1713, he was elected as the MP for Chipping Wycombe.

Sir John Wittewronge passed away on January 26, 1722. He had three sons and four daughters. His eldest son, also named John, became the next Baronet. The family home, Stantonbury, was later sold in 1727 to the Duchess of Marlborough.
