Sir Robert Keith Arbuthnot (born September 9, 1801 – died March 4, 1873) was an important Scottish government worker. He was known as the 2nd Baronet, which is a special title passed down in families. He worked as the Secretary for the Board of Trustees and Manufactures, helping to manage important projects.

Robert was the son of Sir William Arbuthnot, 1st Baronet and Anne Alves. He joined the Bombay Civil Service, which was a group of British officials working in India. He worked there from 1819 to 1838. When his father passed away on September 18, 1829, Robert became the next Baronet. In India, he was a collector and a magistrate in a city called Ahmedabad. This meant he helped collect taxes and make sure laws were followed. Sir Robert passed away in Florence, Italy, when he was 71 years old.

  • Charlotte d'Ende Arbuthnot (died 1904), who married Reverend Charles Hall Raikes in 1863
