Later, Gary changed his stage name to Sivion. He found out there were other artists named Vision. He chose Sivion after accidentally misspelling his old name in an email to his brother.

Sivion joined the Christian hip hop group Deepspace5. This happened while they were recording their album The Night We Called It a Day. He began his solo music career in 2005. His first solo album, Mood Enhancement, was released by Illect Recordings. The next year, in 2006, he released Spring Of The Songbird. In 2010, he worked with Dert on the album Butterfly Sessions. His fourth studio album, Group Therapy, came out on October 15, 2013. He continues to be part of the duo Phat K.A.T.S. with his twin brother, Terry.
