Slaviša Stojanović, born on December 6, 1969, is a professional football manager from Slovenia. He used to be a football player himself. Currently, he is the manager of Koper. As a manager, Stojanović has won the top league in Slovenia twice with Domžale. He also won the top league in Serbia once with Red Star Belgrade.

Managerial Career Highlights
Starting as a Coach
Stojanović began his coaching journey with the youth teams of Slovan. In 2001, he became the manager for Livar, a team in the Slovenian Second League.
Success with Domžale
In 2002, Stojanović took over as manager of Domžale. In his first year, he helped Domžale get promoted to the Slovenian PrvaLiga, which is the top football league in Slovenia. He led the team to win the national championship two years in a row, in 2007 and 2008.
Coaching National Teams
In 2009, Stojanović became an assistant manager for the United Arab Emirates national team. He worked alongside Srečko Katanec. In September 2011, both Stojanović and Katanec left the team after two losses in the World Cup qualifiers.
On October 24, 2011, Stojanović became the new manager of the Slovenia national team. He stayed in this role until December 9, 2012, when he decided to leave.
Winning with Red Star Belgrade
On June 24, 2013, Stojanović became the manager of Red Star Belgrade in Serbia. His team lost their first game in the Serbian SuperLiga. However, in the second part of the 2013–14 season, Red Star won 15 games in a row. This amazing winning streak helped them win the Serbian championship. It was the first time Red Star had won the league in seven years.
Coaching in Belgium and China
On September 5, 2014, Stojanović became the manager of Lierse in Belgium. He signed a contract until the end of that season but left the club on January 28, 2015.
On January 13, 2016, Stojanović was appointed as the new manager of Changchun Yatai in China. His time there was short, as he left the team on May 4, 2016.
Time with Levski Sofia
After coaching Riga FC, Stojanović became the manager of the Bulgarian club Levski Sofia on July 30, 2018. He left the club on January 21, 2019.
Leading the Latvia National Team
On March 13, 2019, Stojanović was confirmed as the new head coach of the Latvia national team. He left this role in January 2020.
Return to Levski Sofia
In November 2020, Stojanović returned to Levski Sofia. Besides being the manager, he also became the club's new director of football. In March 2021, Stojanović became unwell and needed hospital care. He was not able to be on the bench for Levski for the rest of that season. On May 20, 2021, Levski announced that Stojanović's contract would not be extended.
