Smith was once a small community in Humboldt County, California. It was located about 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east of Weott. This former settlement sat at an elevation of 213 feet (65 meters) above sea level.
Smith's Location and History
Smith was situated along the Northwestern Pacific Railroad. This railway was important for transportation in the area. The community of Smith appeared on maps until at least 1949. After that, it was no longer shown as an active settlement.
