Sneha Kapoor is a super talented Indian dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Many people call her "The Indian Salsa Princess" because she's so good at salsa dancing! She lives in Mumbai now, but she started her dance journey in Bangalore. She learned and performed many dance styles, like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Jive, Hip-hop, Adagio, and Bollywood dance. In 2015, she was even a special guest at a dance show for kids in Jabalpur.

Sneha Kapoor's Dance Journey

Sneha Kapoor is famous for helping Indian salsa dancing become known all over the world. She is the first Indian dancer to represent India and win many international salsa championships. Sneha started her dance career in 2006 with Lourd Vijay's Dance Studio in Bangalore. This was the start of an amazing career where she explored many dance forms. These included Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Jive, Hip-Hop, Adagio, and Bollywood.

From Athlete to Dancer

Originally, Sneha Kapoor was an athlete. But after meeting Richard Tholoor, she decided to become a dancer instead. She joined Lourd Vijay's dance studio in Bangalore. While at the studio, Sneha and her dance partner, Richard Tholoor, won many awards and trophies. They won these awards in salsa championships around the world.

Breaking a World Record

Sneha Kapoor even broke a Guinness World Record! The record was for the "Most Number of Swing Dance Flips in a Minute." The old record was 33 flips in one minute, set in the UK. But Sneha and her team of three dancers set a new record with 39 flips!

Dancing on TV and in Movies

Sneha has appeared on popular TV dance shows. She was a contestant on Dance India Dance Season 3 in 2012. She has also worked as a choreographer for TV reality shows like Just Dance and Perfect Bride.

She also choreographed dances for movies! She worked on the South Indian movie Jugaari and the Bollywood film Heroine. Sneha performs and teaches dance workshops both in India and in other countries.
