It was known for its huge, bright sign from the 1960s. The sign had the name "Snelgrove" in big, looping neon letters and a giant spinning double ice cream cone! Sadly, this historic store was torn down in March 2021 to make room for new buildings. The factory where Snelgrove ice cream was made was right behind this store.
