Snow Queen: Gerda and the Keepers of Wonders is an exciting Russian 3D animated TV show. It's a fantasy adventure comedy made by Wizart Animation. The series continues the story from The Snow Queen movies.

In this show, you follow the adventures of Gerda, Kai, and their brave weasel friend Luta. A new character, Icy, also joins them. She is the mysterious daughter of the Snow Queen. After Gerda brings Kai home from the Arctic, they also bring little Icy. But trouble starts at home. The children become a team of superheroes called the Keepers of Wonders. They must work together to bring peace back to their world. The series first aired on October 25, 2019, and is shown on popular kids' TV channels.

Story of the Keepers

Gerda and her loyal weasel, Luta, are always ready to help anyone in need. After a long journey, Gerda safely brings Kai home. They also bring along Icy, the curious daughter of the Snow Queen.

Icy has magical ice powers, but she finds it hard to control them in the normal world. Gerda, Kai, and Icy discover they each have special abilities. Icy can freeze things, Gerda controls the North Wind, and Kai is a brilliant inventor.

In their new world, Icy learns to handle her powers and make friends. When things get tough, Gerda, Kai, Luta, and Icy transform into superheroes. They set up their headquarters and become the Keepers of Wonders, protecting their community. Gerda can move objects with the North Wind, and Icy uses her frost powers.

The Keepers often face challenges from villains. One is Harald, a super-smart inventor with a battle robot. Another is Alfida, a pirate leader. Sometimes, magic isn't enough to stop these bad guys. That's when Luta, the small but brave weasel, becomes their secret weapon. Kai's inventions, even if they don't always work perfectly, can also help against Harald's machines.

When Icy disappears, Gerda and Kai go to their headquarters. They meet Florida, a fairy with a magical garden. They learn Florida wants to use magic to create an army of plants. Later, the brave team helps solve a mystery at the royal art gallery. Paintings are stolen, which means Icy might miss an art competition. The characters use their smarts and teamwork to overcome dangers. They learn that friendship, kindness, and a little magic make them truly unbeatable heroes.

Who Voices Them

• Gerda (voiced by Tatiana Shitova) - She is the main hero of the show. Gerda becomes a superhero at the team's headquarters. She uses a magical disk to transform. Gerda can control the powerful North Wind.
• Kai (voiced by Prokhor Chekhov) - Kai is a brave inventor who believes in science. His clever inventions, like a special bow that finds locations, help the team. He often competes with Harald's inventions.

How the Show Was Made

The studio Wizart Animation started thinking about continuing The Snow Queen story in 2017. They saw how popular the movies were, with millions of viewers. So, they decided to make a TV show based on the films. This way, fans wouldn't have to wait two years for a new movie.

The show is a 3D animated series with 52 episodes, each about 11 minutes long. It's made for children aged 6–9 years. The creators wanted to expand the world of the familiar characters.

The first sneak peek of the show was shown in 2017. The series is a mix of comedy, fantasy, and adventure. Famous composers Brad Breeck (who worked on Gravity Falls) and Gabriel Hays wrote the music. They were especially inspired by Icy. They said she is smart and never gives up. They hoped Icy's way of solving problems would be a role model for kids. The music mixes pop and folk, like classic Disney songs. The studio also tried to keep the animation quality as high as in The Snow Queen movies.

The show was planned to be ready by late 2019. It was shown at different events around the world, like the Cartoon Forum in France. The series premiered in Voronezh, Russia, on September 21, 2019. This was special because Wizart Animation's main office is in Voronezh. The first five episodes were shown there.

In October 2019, after only three episodes, the show had 1.5 million views on the social network VK. By February 2020, it had over 45 million TV viewers! Because of this success, a company called Simbat signed a deal to make toys and games based on the series. Wizart Animation even released backgrounds for Zoom calls featuring the show.

The series is currently shown on channels like STS Kids, Carousel, and O!. Wizart Animation also made a mobile game called "Guardians of Wonders: Snowballs." It's an arcade game where you have snowball fights with trolls and the show's heroes.
