Snowstar Records is a music company from the Netherlands. It's an independent record label, which means it's not owned by a big corporation. Snowstar Records started in 2003 in Utrecht, a city in the Netherlands. Cedric Muyres created it. This label focuses on releasing music like indie, singer/songwriter and folk songs.

The Story of Snowstar Records

Snowstar Records has been part of the music world since 2003. When it first started, it was a punk rock label based in Limburg. But over time, it changed its focus. Now, it mainly releases indie, singer/songwriter, folk, and Americana music.

Since 2008, the label has been located in Utrecht. A big moment for Snowstar Records was in 2010 when they released the album On Claws by the band I Am Oak. This album helped the label become much more well-known.

Some talented people help make the music sound great. Stefan Breuer, who is in the bands I Am Oak and Lost Bear, often helps record and mix the music for Snowstar Records. Another band member, Tammo Kersbergen, usually does the mastering. Mastering is the final step to make music sound perfect before it's released.

In 2008, Snowstar Records celebrated its fifth birthday! They released five new albums and had a big party in Utrecht to mark the occasion.
