Sotaro Sada (佐田 聡太郎, Sada Sōtarō, born March 18, 1984) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender during his career.

Sotaro Sada's Football Journey
Sotaro Sada was born in Maebashi, Japan, on March 18, 1984. He started his professional football career after finishing high school.
Early Career and First Clubs
In 2002, after graduating, Sada joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club in the top Japanese football league, known as the J1 League. The J1 League is the highest level of professional football in Japan.
However, in 2003, Sanfrecce Hiroshima moved down to the J2 League, which is the second division of Japanese professional football. Sada did not play any games for Sanfrecce Hiroshima during his time there.
Time at Thespa Kusatsu
In 2004, Sada moved to Thespa Kusatsu. At that time, Thespa Kusatsu was playing in the Japan Football League (JFL), which is a league below the J1 and J2. He played as a defensive right back for the team.
Thespa Kusatsu performed well and was promoted to the J2 League in 2005. After this promotion, Sada started playing more often for the team. He became a regular player for several years.
From the summer of 2010, his playing time began to decrease. He continued with Thespa Kusatsu until the end of the 2011 season.
Final Club and Retirement
In 2012, Sotaro Sada joined another JFL club, AC Nagano Parceiro. He played for them for one season. At the end of the 2012 season, Sada decided to retire from professional football.
