Alex Gibson (born April 21, 1970) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known by his ring name, "Soulman" Alex G. He is also famous for being a wrestling trainer. He helped train big names like Montel Vontavious Porter, a former WWE United States Champion. He also trained Konnor, a former NXT Tag Team Champion.

Early Wrestling Days
Alex Gibson started wrestling when he was in middle school. He was an amateur wrestler first. By the time he went to North Miami High School, he was ready to succeed.
High School Success
In his second year of high school, he made it to the state wrestling tournament. He even won the state championship in his weight class! After high school, he received a wrestling scholarship. This allowed him to attend the University of Michigan.
Becoming a Pro Wrestler
Alex began his professional wrestling training in his 20s. He learned from a famous trainer named "The littlest man" Boris Malenko. Alex would drive from Miami to Tampa, Florida, every weekend for training.
Training with Legends
During his training, Alex worked alongside many wrestling stars. Some of these included X-Pac, Dean Malenko, and Joe Malenko. He also trained with "Black Magic" Norman Smiley and Gangrel.
Working for Big Promotions
On May 5, 1995, Soulman wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling. He also worked for World Championship Wrestling. He traveled to different countries to wrestle. He competed in Mexico, Puerto Rico (World Wrestling Council), and Japan. He even wrestled for Union of Wrestling Forces International in Japan.
Training Future Stars
Alex G is known as one of the best wrestling trainers in Florida. He has worked at several wrestling schools. He trained alongside other famous wrestlers. These included Duke "The Dumpster" Droese and "Screamin'" Norman Smiley.
Bodyslam University
Today, Alex is a trainer at Coastal Championship Wrestling's "Bodyslam University." He also has a side business doing tattoos.
Training WWE Wrestlers
Alex has trained many wrestlers who went on to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He helped train Ryan O'Reilly. He also trained SmackDown! wrestler Montel Vontavious Porter. Many other popular wrestlers on the Florida independent scene also learned from him.
Wrestling in South Florida
Alex "Soulman" G still wrestles sometimes in South Florida. He is considered semi-active in the sport.
Tag Team Challenges
On August 12, 2006, Alex G and his partner, "Big Money" Ram, wrestled as the Cash Money Brothers. They faced the CCW tag team champions, The Syrian Slasher and American Taliban. In one match, Alex G used brass knuckles to win. However, the referee saw them, and the decision was reversed.
The Cash Money Brothers also competed in Division 1 Pro Wrestling. They lost to the Black Market for the D1PW Tag Team Championships. They also lost to the Lifeguards and The Heartbreak Express.
